Woman injured in scooter crash warns others DENVER (KDVR) -- Alexandra Hurtado was injured after she hit a pothole while scootering home from a concert last Wednesday night, and now she's warning others to be cautious. “As soon as I hit it that’s the last I remember," Hurtado said. "I remember hitting it and I woke up in the ER." She said she wasn't intoxicated and heading home. She said the plan was to stop for food at McDonald's when she came up at the intersection of 12th Street and Colfax Avenue. She said she thought she saw a small pothole or bump. Tomorrow features a stationary boundary across southern New England that will keep a less humid, more comfortable airmass in place. Massachusetts Task Force 1 returns to Mass. after Vermont flooding response It was mission complete Tuesday for a task force of responders from Massachusetts who were sent to Vermont to help with rescue and recovery efforts after devastating flooding last week.The group returned to Beverly where one member spoke to 7NEWS about her experience on the ground. “We got to use our training to do exactly what we wanted to do,” said Massachusetts Task Force 1 Safety Officer Leah Shatkin.The 45 members of the task force set out on July 10.
