COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Town of Colonie has partnered with Med-Project to install a drop-box for unwanted or expired medications in the lobby of the Colonie Police Department. (NEWS10) - An area of Queensbury has struggled with clean water issues for the last two years, after some residents were advised to steer clear of drinking their well water by the DEC in 2021. On Monday, April 17, the Queensbury Town Board will hold a public meeting on ways it could connect the northern neighborhood of Jenkinsville to the town water line. Currently, residents in Jenkinsville rely on well water. GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- State Police, with the assistance of the Johnstown Police Department, arrested a Gloversville man on charges stemming from multiple incidents. Joseph A. ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office charged a man for allegedly leaving a dead body behind a Dutchtown home earlier this week.According to Sgt. Charles Wall, a spokesman for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were summoned to the alley behind the 3700 block of Dunnica Avenue just before 6:30 a.m. on April 4.Police found the body of Glenn Williams rolled up in plastic and carpet, and left on a rear parking pad. A Bakersfield man is facing federal charges after allegedly making threatening phone calls last year, including to a Planned Parenthood the day the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, officials announced Thursday.Nishith Tharaka Vandebona, 34, was living in Camarillo during the alleged offenses. He was charged with three misdemeanor counts of threatened forcible intimidation regarding the obtaining and provision of reproductive health services under the federal Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, otherwise known as the FACE Act, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Three-Vehicle Collision in Carlsbad Left One FatalityCARLSBAD, CA (April 6, 2023) – Thursday morning, a multi-vehicle crash on Faraday Avenue left one person dead and two others with injuries.The collision happened around 6:45 a.m. at the 2700 block of Faraday Avenue in the city of Carlsbad.According to the police, a Mazda MX-5 traveling east at high speed lost control and veered onto the westbound lane.Consequently, the Mazda collided with a Honda Accord and a Toyota Corolla before being engulfed in flames.Responding emergency personnel declared the Mazda driver dead at the scene.
